Shelby Annual Regional Banquet
We were blessed to be joined by Pastor Al Huff from Chester Assembly of God Church, who gave the benediction, and Pastor Fred Brown from New Life Community Church gave the invocation. Bradford Newman gave his testimony on how the Lord has transformed his life after many years of addiction and being homeless. Marla Mital and Marcia Lennick shared stories from their experiences volunteering at the Mission over the years. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and community.
Our main goal of the Regional Banquets is to build reiationships with individuals and businesses in the communities of those we serve. The banquet gave us the opportunity to share in fellowship and enjoy a delicious meal together.
Jim Kizer, Executive Director of the Mission, gave an inspirational message on what the Lord says biblically about how we are to serve the homeless and poor. Jim also presented to the guests the services we provide to the people in North Central Montana.
1 John 3:17-18
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
